Phase 3

Sales in phase 3 of the estate are progressing well and the sales team are pleased to announce the release of the final 10 stands in this phase. Sites 43-52 are now available for sale and prices can be requested from the sales team. These sites are elevated and most offer stunning views over the estate towards the lagoon.

With summer in full swing, the residents are enjoying all outdoor activities. The tennis and boules courts were completed before Christmas and family and friends have joined in the fun over the festive season. The heated swimming pool is also a highlight with many joining the water aerobics enthusiasts or simply relaxing poolside with a good book.

The cooks ar e experienced and creative and cater to individual tastes as far as possible. Of course, special dietar requirements, such as allergies, ar e also noted and strictly adhered to.

KLE gets active...

Anyone for tennis? Construction has begun on the tennis and boules courts, situated west of the Clubhouse. Together with the existing heated swimming pool, snooker room, fully equipped gym, sauna, spinning and stretch and toning facilities, Knysna Lifestyle Estate encourages homeowners to follow an active and healthy lifestyle. However, for the less active the library is extremely well used and provides a facility for a very well established Bridge & Mahjong fraternity. The planning and implementation of the walking trails is well under way, linking the greenbelt areas throughout the estate. The indigenous planting is both water wise and attracts a fabulous array of bird life with over 71 species already been identified on the estate. With phase 2 nearing completion we are excited to announce the release of the first 30 sites in phase 3.

2 With an average erf size of 800m the newly released properties on the Western portion of the estate will afford all of the space, privacy and luxury that existing homeowners already enjoy.

WALKING PATHS

The landscaping of certain parkland areas has begun together with the construction of walking paths which will ultimately link the green belt of phase 1 to these situated in phase 2. Landscaping of the new dams in phase 2 is also nearly complete and the dams are almost full to capacity.

Construction of the first phase of Assisted Living Units now complete.

 

We are also proud to announce the availability of the Assisted Living Units which are sold on a life right basis from R925 000. Occupants can enjoy DSTV, laundry done on their behalf, a daily meal, cleaning services and visits from a caregiver if required. See some internal pictures of our show unit below. The first block is now complete and our first resident has taken occupation.

This will alleviate much of the traffic and noise moving forward. We are currently awaiting the arrival of a guard hut, after which the new gate will be opened.

Record Sales Over Summer Months – March 2016

There are only 18 opportunities left in phase 2 after record sales over the past few months. As a result, a large number of homes are currently under construction with completion and occupation due before the end of the year. Clubhouse Liquor Licence

After a 16 month wait, Knysna Lifestyle Estate has finally been awarded the Clubhouse liquor licence. Homeowners can now enjoy a leisurely drink in the afternoons in the comfort of the luxury Clubhouse during the week-day afternoons. Homeowners also enjoy regular get-togethers on selected evenings, giving them the opportunity to socialise with other residents.

DECEMBER 2015 NEWSLETTER

The phase 2 infrastructure is nearing completion with work now shifting to the creation of the platforms of all those properties which are ready for construction. 18 of the 39 properties available in phase 2 have already sold and we look forward to welcoming many new residents during 2016.

 

ASSISTED LIVING UNITS COMPLETE

Construction of the Eastford Reservoir has commenced.


One of the municipal conditions of approval for the development of the Knysna Lifestyle Estate was that the Developer be required to construct a 3ML water reservoir for the Knysna Municipality. The construction of the reservoir within the Eastford Country Estate has commenced with the completion expected at the end of August 2016. This reservoir will feed Eastford and the surrounding areas, with 20% of its capacity required for the Knysna Lifestyle Estate. This reservoir will substantially increase the storage capacity for our area.

 

 

 

CLUBHOUSE LIQUOR LICENCE

The final inspection for the Clubhouse Liquor Licence has been concluded and we trust that we will soon be awarded ours. Once the licence has been awarded, the bar will be open week days at times to be confirmed.

STEADY PROGRESS ON ALL FRONTS

We are pleased to announce that an impressive twelve properties have already sold in phase two! The installation of services for this phase are well underway and are on schedule for completion by the end of August 2015.

Additionally, we have handed over 4 new homes in May alone, and would like to welcome the new residents to the congenial and luxurious neighbourhood that is Knysna Lifestyle Estate...

We are also proud to announce that construction of the Assisted Living Units has commenced, which is a contributing factor to the growing interest in the estate.

Access for construction vehicles:

We are in the process of making arangements for as many of the construction vehicles as possible to enter the estate from an alternative access point, which falls into phase 3 planning.

With its completion just a few months ago the luxury Clubhouse is providing its worth with residents enjoying the upmarket space and its many amenities to the fullest. NEW FITNESS & SPINNING INSTRUCTOR


Certainly a highlight of the estate's Clubhouse is the gym, and a welcome addition to the facility is Terence Dili. He has commenced with spinning classes, personal training as well as stretch and tone classes to keep residents trim and fit. We have acquired additional bikes to accommodate the popularity of thes classes.

 

 

 

WELBEDACHT ROAD | UPGRADE NEWS

Welbedacht Road, leading from the N2 to the Knysna Lifestyle Estate, is in need of maintenance and the upgrade of this access route is an absolute priority to us. Unfortunately, due to the shortage of bitumen in South Africa, we cannot proceed at this time with scheduled work. We are looking for alternative sources of bitumen and will endeavour to find a solution as soon as posible.

Our aim is to have resurfaced this section of the road by the end of 2015.

Developers Break Ground on Luxury Clubhouse
